WiFi calling stopped working

I have an iPhone 13 Pro. I do not get mobile network connection in my home and rely on wifi calling.

I use BT broadband. I have a wireless router.

I have had the same setup for two years and had no problems until now.

Since this morning, I have been unable to make any wifi calls. I can still use facetime, iMessage, safari and social media apps. It is only wifi calling that is not working.

I have checked all settings are enabled for wifi calling on my phone, I have tried toggling wifi off/on I have also toggled mobile data & airplane mode off/on. I have tried turning my phone off/on. I have reset network settings and disconnected/reconnected to my wireless router. I have also checked my router speeds which are normal - as I’ve mentioned above I have still been able to use the internet as normal on my phone. I have also walked away from my house to attempt making a call using only mobile network and it works.

Despite this, wifi calling is still not working. I cannot receive or make any phone calls.

I work once a week on call - I need to resolve this ASAP.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

EDIT - to add, my partner is on EE network, also does not get mobile network signal in our home but has no issue with making wifi calls so I do not believe it is any issue with our internet connection.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your patience whilst we've been working on sorting this issue out. We started rolling out a fix yesterday evening, and it should have landed with you all by this morning.

If you've not picked up the 64.2 carrier update automatically, try checking in your Settings, General, About and you can also manually check for the update. Please let us know if you're still experiencing any issues with your Wi-Fi calling.

I appreciate everyone's feedback around this issue. I'll be sharing this to the relevant teams.

Still no joy,Three says problem is with Community Fibre and CF says problem is with Three, I had no issues when I was with o2 until I changed to Three earlier in the year, I went to a Three store to try and resolve and Wifi calling worked there with their broadband. Tried reseting network settings as advised by Three, also turned off wifi calling and phone but to no avail, nothing works and I live in an area with poor reception so I keep missing calls and I can just about make calls if I turn wifi off with just 1-2 bars on my phone. Communication not easy with both Three and CF customer services, I really need to resolve this and my flatmate is also withThree

It might be worth testing it on a few more Wifi networks. You mentioned that it worked on the Three store Wifi, but not on CF. If you could test on others, it might give an idea as to whether or not it's just CF wifi that's impacted, or if it's happening on other ones as well.

Thanks Pete, in the Three store it worked with the two different broadband providers they had, the issue is only with CF and Three and CF tell me the problem is on the Three end. Three does not have this problem with other broadband provider and CF does not have the same issue with other network providers

Do you know of anyone else on CF who would let you connect to their Wifi and test at theirs? Just to know if the issue is isolated to one CF connection, or all of them?

I have this issue at my house too so definitely a broader 3 CF problem

I am having issues with this still - on CommunityFibre and they are adamant it is an issue with 3 - but when I call 3 there does not seem to be a solution.

Please help as I rely on my phone to work while at home!

did you try airplane mode? if you using iphone and if you have the correct carrier setting should swithc to wifi calling in seconds... android is all different story, you might need to airplane mode and then switch on the wifi...
