I started a new contract with three and was told three months free, but I got a bill after just two weeks. What sort of company is this?

Just a ps. Did you upgrade early? If you did then the bill would be the balance of the old contract.

Did you buy a phone and airtime contract? If you did then the bill could be for the interest free loan for the phone. If in doubt call customer services or have a chat.
