Voicemail greeting

I have recently got a new phone and contract with Three. I have brought my old number with me. 

When trying to access my voicemail it won’t let me listen to any messages until I record a personal greeting but I don’t want to?

How can I access my voicemail inbox without this please? It’s really frustrating.

Your first recording, usually your name, is the default and cannot be changed. You can then record different messages for different actions. If you don't want the usual "sorry I am not available..." just record your number and this is what people will hear.
