7 day roaming time. How long exactly? Hours etc.

NobodyReally
Fledgling

I have purchased a 7 day EU roaming pack and will be landing in my destination country on sunday the 30th Nov around 1330.

I will be leaving that country Sunday 7th Dec at 14:30.

This is just over a full 7 days exact timing. I do not want to get stung for any extra roaming charges while sat in the airport waiting for my return flight.

What is the exact length of time that a 7 day roaming add on is active for and will it cover me for the entire time abroad?

Many thanks.

Hello @NobodyReally,

I hope your planning for the trip is going well.

Your Go Roam pass activates once you land and connect to a local network in your destination. This means that the 7 day pass window will start from this specific point.

If you run out of passes/days before you fly back, this could mean additional charges if you stay connected.

If you anticipate there being a short time period where you might exceed the pass duration, you could play around this by turning off the network connection and using airport Wi-Fi before you depart.

Thanks,
Michael
