Hi all
Does anybody know how the Three fraud team can be contacted directly please?
My Dad received an unexpected email yesterday with a PAC code and somebody phoned him (from a random mobile number) saying that today he would suffer an outage today because of 4G to 5G migration work and not to worry. I flagged this was a SIM swap scam, he spoke to Three customer services by phone both last night and again this morning. He was assured the PAC code had been cancelled and no transfer could take place. However the number has been cut off this afternoon, I assume transferred out. He's been on the phone to customer services for an hour now and not getting any progress.
Thanks

Same thing happend to me in april, contacted them and sorted out the problem. Unfortunately it happend again a month later, receiving a text sorry your leaving us blah blah I contacted them again, they assured me the pac etc had been cancelled. Later that day 3mobile closes my account down. They told me that there was nothing they could do on the phone, and that the only option I had was go to any 3Store with valid id. Which ATM is impossible. So no account unable to use phone because of no network coverage. Ahh but they are requested I pay my bill Sure 3mobile when you reinstall the service.

Three have details of what to do if you think you have been the victim of fraud and there are a couple of webpages if you Duckduckgo them. One of the links is below. Three, like many businesses but unlike banks and credit card companies, do not publish direct email or phone numbers as the departments could be swamped with bogus and irrelevant contacts.
