Genuine/ scam call?

Hello, received call today from 01182114158.

Is this a genuine promotional department or is it a fraud and should I somehow protect myself now?

Hi @Aya,

We use 03 numbers to contact customers so it won't be one of ours, and if there's ever any doubt you can also ask customer services to check your account notes to find out whether we've called you, and what it would have been about.

If you haven't given the caller any personal or financial details, and this just seems to have been a random phishing call, send a text with CALL followed by the number that called you to 7726 this helps us gather information about fraudsters and telepests and work to stop them.

This is not a Three number. If you go to your calls log there is an option to block the number.

If you receive a call and are not sure who they are or think it's a scam, hang up. If they claim to be from a particular company then Google the company's customer service number and call them, if you think you need to.
