When I try to log in to phone account a text is sent to my internet mobile data router number which I can't access so I can't log in. Can't find any way to change this

That's strange. That should only happen if you're logging into the account that belongs to the router instead.
I'd recommend disconnecting from the WiFi and trying to access your My3 account through the phone while it's on mobile data to see if that sorts the problem. If the messages are still somehow being sent to the router, you can log into the router settings dashboard and view received text messages from within there.
