Since when have I needed to have my name on my account match exactly the name on my Bank account!?
I'm trying to upgrade and they refuse to do it even though I've had my account in my name "Chris" instead of my full name "Christian"! I've had the account for 15 years, with payments coming out of the same bank account with exactly the same details. So why is it now an issue!?

Sorry to hear that you've had issues upgrading. For the purpose of credit checking and helping to prevent fraud your account should be registered in your legal name. Because when you upgrade you need to validate your card and all the details on your Three account must match EXACTLY those on that card. That’s it really.
