No phone delivered by DPD and Three wants to start charging for a phone i did not collect

I oredered for an Iphone 15 Pro max from Three, The phone  was suppose to be delivered the next day, I was not home to receive it so I missed the delivery.

The second time i waited for a call from DPD  to deliver after they had sent me an email that it will be delivered, I didnt get the call, all I got was an email stating a missed delivery.
I had to pay extra charges for custom delivery to get it on Sunday.

DPD delivered on Sunday only for me to discover that there was no phone in the parcel , just the charger, the case, and screen guard.

I am really furious and dissapointed, I will not pay for a phone I did not collect. Three has sent me an email indicating that the ohone has been delivered. I have raised the compliant with Three agents and he said he has raised it to the complaint , with reference number ************337.

I hope this will be resolved and get my Phone or I will report this to Police ASAP.

 I think this is fradulent!

Now Now Ladies, 3 will more than likely be waiting on a simcard being placed into the phone, once this has been done the phone comes alive.

With the powers of technology 3 can track the phone, or completely disable the imei making the phone unusable.

So if the phone has been stolen from it's box (possibility) it can only have happened at the 3 delivery stage, when it travelled or it arrived at the DPS depot or by the actual delivery driver, or the receiving customer is telling porkies stating the phone is missing,,,,,,,, but the phones are usually sent with a security seal, was this seal broken?

Which ever way the phone will end up unusable,,,, at least in the UK

lol Thanks for that but it’s handbags! I’ll be VERY interested to learn of the outcome let’s just say that. 😉

I’m going to be controversial here. 1) You ordered a phone and knew it was coming the next day but you failed to be at home to receive it. WHY?  2) You apparently missed a call from DPD and received an email from them citing a missed delivery. Were you at home or not? 3)  DPD apparently delivered and when you opened the package there was no phone only a charger a case and a screen guard.
I would say you’re both negligent in not being home to receive the package in the first place (what happened with the apparent second delivery attempt you don’t elaborate on) and foolhardy. I personally question your version of events and can’t decide whether you’re the unluckiest or the most negligent poster on here for some time, I would strongly recommend you edit your posting to remove the complaint number since it may contain personally identifiable information. You’ve now made a complaint and need to await its outcome. If you think reporting it to the police would help your cause then perhaps it’s a good idea as you’ll then have a crime number.

Good luck.

I am sure you probably paid to reply to this post, or you have a special protected interest.
I was not available obviously those two attempt because I have to go to work. Some of us have to work to pay bills, and I arranged for custom delivery paying additional cost,  Unless you blaming my not being at home for the reason I got delivered for  getting an empty parcel.

No I don’t get paid to reply nor do I have “special protected interest” whatever that is. I’m just a customer and I’m a customer who would either wait in for my much anticipated phone or arrange for it to be delivered on a date when I am in thereby avoiding much of this fracas. You make a thing about paying for delivery but you missed TWO deliveries apparently. I think you’re either poor at arranging things or just plain negligent;the Jury’s out. I too have to work to pay bills so you’re nothing special in that regard but I do know that I’ve had a number of devices delivered to me by Three over time and I’ve always managed to be in to receive them. Oh and to date I’ve not had an “empty parcel” delivered to me.

It seems you either on a mission to discredit my post or you have something to do with my situation, either ways I dont care who the hell you think you are, and you dont have any right to make me  feel irresponsible for missing deliveries even when I had to reschedule.

For some reason your stupidity is making this post about my missed delivery and legitimising that as a reason for a case of theft or fraud!

I missed my deliveries YES so what the hell as that got to right the wrong of me not getting what I will paying for??

Whoever you are , the purpose of my post here is to get solutions to my ordeal, dont add to it. If you are so smart with getting deliveries you might as well turn that to full time job and help busy folks like.

The reason you are posting on here is BECAUSE you missed your deliveries! End of. When you order a phone you are told it’s next day delivery or you can change it to a more suitable day. You failed to do that simple task and now you claim that after all that messing about you received a package without a phone. To this end you’ve complained to Three and are awaiting the outcome. You’ve indicated your possible intention to report it to the police and I’ve suggested to you that it might be a good idea to do so as you’ll then have a crime number. Might I suggest you reflect on both doing that and also reflect on your own failures which have led you to be in the situation you allege you’re in instead of sparring on here. That would seem to me to be more productive.

It is when you resort to personal insults which are unnecessary and which you’ll notice I haven’t challenged. You must await the outcome of the complaint you’ve made and whether or not you report it to the police is up to you. Personally I would as this would give me a crime reference number to give to either DPD or Three (or both) and show that you are serious in your original allegation of “fraudulent activity”.
