Roaming in USA

Fledgling

I travel to the US at the weekend for a week and I'm trying to find out if I can use my monthly 100Gb of data, and if so how?

Or do I need to purchase something extra for the time I am out there?

All the information I have read so far is incredibly confusing and I don't want to get it wrong and end up with a huge bill.

It costs £5 a day to unlock your UK allowances in the USA.

But that only covers you up to 12gb: after that there are additional charges.

There are also other passes available for longer periods than just a day: you should be able to see these and their prices in the Three app.

You could also consider a Data Passport which costs £5 a day, and gives you unlimited data. I used data passports in March in the USA, and they worked brilliantly.

Have a great trip !
