I have a Simm only phone contract and a Home MiFi contract both of which are unlimited data. Hopefully taking an extended trip to EU which may last anywhere between 3-6months. My question is can I use both of these items while I am there and will I still have unlimited data? Or should I seek another provider while in EU/
Ay advice / info greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ian

You can only use Go Roam for periodic travel, like holidays or short breaks. To ensure all customers can benefit from roaming, we have put in place the following rules for prolonged periods of roaming.
We'll monitor your usage, and if you spend two complete months in one or more of our Go Roam destinations in a rolling 12-month period, we have the right to suspend international roaming services on your account. This means you'll no longer be able to use your device or allowances abroad. Of course, we’ll let you know in advance if this is likely to happen. You'll need to stop using your roaming services exclusively for roaming in Go Roam destinations and return to the UK to avoid suspension. If you spend a full two months abroad but some of that time is spent in a destination that isn't included in Go Roam, the restriction won't apply.
If you've had international roaming services suspended, and since returned to the UK, please contact us to let us know of the change in your location, and we'll unblock your roaming services.
So I would seek a local SIM/eSIM for the destinations you are staying at.

Again thanks for response. However I have been giving this a great deal of thought. I have been with Three for over a decade, with 2 contracts for Phone and Home Mi-Fi. To say I am not pleased by the situation I am approaching is, I have to say, an understatement!
My reason for saying that is that Three, I assume, will continue to collect my monthly payments even though they will not be providing me with any service. I say this as you stated in your reply…..
“”We'll monitor your usage, and if you spend two complete months in one or more of our Go Roam destinations in a rolling 12-month period, we have the right to suspend international roaming services on your account. This means you'll no longer be able to use your device or allowances abroad. “”
Please correct me if I am wrong in thinking that this means I will no longer be able to use my phone for calls or text messages! I can live without any Data as I am able to use Wi-Fi where I am currently staying but without the use of my phone for calls and texts I will be unable to make/receive, in event of emergency, calls or texts. Also without the ability to receive texts I will be unable to receive OTP from my bank leaving me in a position of financial difficulty if I need verification via my phone.
Maybe I am misunderstanding all the small print etc when it comes to using my phone in the EU and am a little confused when you state….
“”If you've had international roaming services suspended, and since returned to the UK, please contact us to let us know of the change in your location, and we'll unblock your roaming services “”….
as this does not specifically refer to my device (I assume this is my phone) so therefore I think this means I will still have the ability to use phone for calls/texts whilst in EU! Am I wrong? Also Why should I have to call you as phone should connect automatically with the Three UK network?
To end I find it unacceptable that being a loyal Three customer that there could be a possibility all services I pay for will be suspended after any 2 months, yet Three will probably continue to take monthly payments for providing no service at all, and if I cancel my contract they will charge me a hefty penalty when it is they who are stopping the service!

Thanks for your response. Guess my best option would be another provider to cover my entire stay in the EU as the stay will definitely be longer than 2 months.
