Still confused about what plan I'm on. I was happy with the last one but they want to keep you locked into contract, I guess.

It looks like this is your first post on the community, so I'm not 100% on the circumstances? As @sc1999 says you should be able to find info about your plan from the Three App, My3, or from customer services.
Also happy to give advice here, but please help me understand the situation in a bit more detail.
