Hi,
I landed in Marrakesh on 23rd October 2022. After landing, I turned my phone on and *immediately* turned off roaming. In the time it took to do this, around £46 was charged to me, which seems ridiculous and unfair.
I have been a 3 customer for years and years. My contract is up for renewal at the end of next month. I have no desire to remain a customer if these unfair practices are employed by 3.
Can anyone help?
Many thanks

Hi @RMF,
Welcome to the Three Community.
I'm really sorry to hear you've ran into these charges. I appreciate this can feel unfair to be charged for your phone automatically checking for notifications, updates, and various background data for your apps, especially when you were in process of switching data roaming off.
It's best to switch data roaming, or even mobile data in general off before you travel, as there's no other practical way to guarantee that your phone won't connect and use data.
I appreciate that doesn't help with the charges already incurred though. I'll send a private message to your community account to give advice on how to get more help with this.
