Already got a sim contract looking to upgrade and get a phone/sim one only its declined on the credit check how can that be

Sorry to hear that you've been declined for the upgrade, we appreciate this will be disappointing. You're best to wait at least 90 days before attempting this again. Because the threshold for passing a credit check involving the supply of a device is higher than that needed for a sim only contract. It’s because it’s effectively a hire purchase agreement involving the cost of the device.
