i'm on pay as you go and i'm leaving to change to another provider and so i called up because i had £35 in credit, i got the refund issued on monday and its now been credited back to me? i've not had an email or a text or anything to tell me why it's been re credited? i'd rather the refund 😢

i had £34.35 top up credit on my pay as you go account, i called up monday and they told me they were able to refund it and i got a text saying 'Hi, it's Three Thanks for your recent refund request a?? we're working on it now. We'll send you a text when it's processed.' and my balance went down to £0.00 but last night i received a text saying its been credited to my account randomly and my credit is back up to £34.35

Oh, I see. That's a really strange round strip. It sounds like The agent must have made an error while processing the request. You should be able to get the amount refunded back into your bank account if you're closing your account, so I'd recommend getting back in touch to let the team know it's gone a bit wrong.
