Fledgling

I've received a call from a Winchester number 01******** informing me that I'm eligible for 40% discount on my existing phone and sim package, plus a free iwatch for my loyalty. Operator told me customers are leaving three due to overcharging and as a reward for my loyalty is that my sim and phone costs will be discounted and I'll receive a gift (the iWatch). Operator asked for my name, email and address (gave my name and email, not address).

Received an email from promotion@three-estore.com outlining the promotion.

Once I hung up I was contacted immediately by a London number 02********.

Hi @Garageflower199,

We've removed the numbers as these are likely spoofed. Most of these scams the phone number called from is actually being faked using software, but will potentially be someone's real landline or mobile.

We never call from 01, 02, or 07 numbers. And that email isn't a Three domain either. There's advice on how to report scam calls, messages, and emails on our fraud to watch out for pages. Thanks for helping raise awareness about these scams.

Thanks,
Jonathan
