4G router APN and pppoe passwords

Frustrated3
Fledgling

Hi. My three-suppled b535 router LAN ports stopped working after a thunderstorm. I need them to pipe internet to other areas in the house.   I bought a new router, but it keeps dropping the internet connection. I want to check the profile settings are correct.   On the b535 router it has APN: 3internet, Username [blank], Password = SOMETHING but I can only see *******  Similarly the password for PPPoe is set but I cant read it.  How can I find out what these are?  As I suspect I need to enter them in the profile on my new router.   Thanks.

Hi @Frustrated3,

APN profile passwords are left blank, perhaps the UI is showing a number of *'s regardless of if anything is entered. If the APN was configured incorrectly you don't get any Internet connection whatsoever in my experience.

Thanks,
Jonathan
