Mounting 5G hub on an aerial pole

MymsMan
Fledgling

To try and get above treeline the best location for my 5G external hub would be to attach it to a TV aerial pole, fine hub comes with a pole mount kit

But the pole mount kit is designed to mount to pipes up to to 80mm  the aerial pole that I wish to attach to has a diameter of 25mm and the jubilee clip supplied will not adjust down below 55mm diameter circle.  I do have smaller jubilee clips but they cant fit through the mounting bracket which is 55mm wide.

If it was just a small difference I could pad the pole with tape but 30mm thickness would use a lot of tape and I am not sure how secure it would be!

I am sure I am not the only user who has wanted to connect the hub to a TV aerial pole.   How have others solved this issue?

I did try chatting to support but agent had no idea what I was trying to ask about and kept insisting that Three don't sell poles!

lol Love your last comment about Three not selling poles. I’m absolutely no tech expert but as far as I’m aware, mobile broadband is strictly line of sight and if going higher achieves that for you then all well and good. An idea would be to mount the hub with the clips then drill and insert screws through the clip into the pole. That should be solid enough. Make sure though to align the hub with precision accuracy before screwing it on.

Best of luck
