Tearing my hair out trying to get online gaming working (Switch, Xbox)...
Context: I've just got Three 5G Home broadband, while my friend has had it for over a year. We used to game together (remotely) on my old (full fibre) broadband, with her using her Three 5G bb, with no issues at all.
Now that I've also got Three 5G bb, nothing works. Xbox throws up an MTU problem, the Switch presumably has a similar issue (won't connect, error "NAT traversal process has failed"). One thing to note - we have different routers provided by Three.
Is the problem 1) that we're both on Three 5g trying to connect to each other, so there's just no hope... or 2) a problem on my end (because I have a different router?) stopping peer-to-peer connections?
I don't understand why this issue did not impact her/us previously, if it's related to the Three 5G network? So it must be my router, right? Speed is great (around 400mbps).
Has anyone got this working? Three shout about how the 5G is great for gaming, but it doesn't seem to be?

So it's now working - but to be honest, I tried too many things to pin down which one actually worked, or if it's just randomly started. I've separated channels to 2.4 and 5ghz, changed APN around, changed between IP4 and 6 - I can't tell you what has worked, but it (currently) does.

Hi @Sharkbait,
Did you manage to find any solutions to your issue?
I can see another Community member gave some suggestions for Xbox to you on MTU for XBOX live mutliplayer gaming on 5g home broadband
Another community member posted some suggestions that helped with their Switch here:Home Broadband blocking some wired & wireless devices
Thanks,
Jonathan
