I received my 5g hub this morning, inserted sim as per guidance at 8am. Its now almost 23.30 and I've still got a flashing blue signal icon and red Internet symbol
Can anyone help please? Rang customer services but they just advised wait a few days and if still the same ring back. I need it for work tomorrow morning

Did you manage to get connected in the end?
Usually SIMs should automatically activate on the morning of delivery, or shortly after a Three store processes the sale. I wouldn't normally expect a SIM activation to take more than 4 hours, so there may have been an error setting up the new accounts.
To rule out faulty hardware, and confirm the issue is with the SIM, I'd try the router SIM in a Three/unlocked phone, if one is available.

Did it eventually work for you?
I am facing the same issue: I contacted them through chat, they said they would connect me to the specialized support, and after that they tell that don't have specialized support via chat and that I would need to call them ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Anyhow, they tell me that I just will need to wait two hours. Next morning still doesn't work, so I call them. After being put on hold, redirected to another specialist and a 45 minutes call, it turns they had to activate the sim card and said it would take another 24/48h. How is that even possible that the sim required to be activated and they don't say anything in the instructions?

Don't wait a few days lol...
It sounds like either a sim or sim activation issue which they should be able to check/resolve unless its an issue with the sim slot or something on the router itself.
I'd give them another call and be a little more persistent ๐

My best advice, return it. Three has been useless with their connection
