Sonos not connecting to Zxycel NR5103E Router

I ordered Three's 5G Home Broadband and received the Zxycel router.  I have 1 x Sonos Playbase and 4 x Play 1 speakers. Only one Play 1 speaker will connect and that is because it is hard wired to the router. I tried calling Sonos and they asked me to contact Three.  I contacted Three who told me to contact Zxycel.  I contacted them to hear an automated message to contact my ISP before disconnecting the call. I can't believe I am the only one with this issue, does anyone know how to deal with it as I am going round in circles?

I've tried this already. It initially connects to the speakers and then says there's a problem. Went through this with Sonos support as well.

Hi, With your old router, how was this connected to Sonos Playbase? Ethernet or WiFi? I'm not familiar with multi-speaker setup but I assume each speaker needs to be connected to the to the router's wifi? It should be possible to repeat the setup steps you used with the old router for the Zyxel router?

I have a standalone Sonos One SL connected to the Zyxel NR5103 router via wifi and I'm able to play music through the mobile app and PC.

Hi.  All the speakers were connected to my old router via WiFi.  I think it has something to do with the frequency. The old router had 2.4 Ghz wireless and the Zxycel that Three supplies does not give you the option of splitting the frequencies.  I think that is why Zxycel referred me back to Three - because they have changed the firmware of the router, but obviously I cannot confirm that.

Are you able to see the Wi-Fi name when performing a network scan from the Sonos app? The Zyxel router use both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz so there shouldn't be a problem connecting. You can check the configuration via the router's web-config at 192.168.1.1 and will show what frequency the Sonos device is connected to. Both frequencies should both be enabled by default and both using the same Wi-Fi name and password given underneath the router.

The firmware would be Three's version so they are responsible for support. The latest version is V1.00(ACBJ.0)b12 under System Info.
