renewed my Three broadband contract today and can't connect to Internet since doing this. It was working perfectly up until I renewed my contract. How can I restart it. Rang Three but customer service person couldn't help me.
Monday
Not sure if you fixed this.
Here is what I would do.
1. Rest my router. it would depend on which router you have to be able to advise you how to do this.
2. Ring customer service and ask the to check if there are any restrictions on your account. if there is ask for them to be removed and then reset your router ( you will probably be advised to wait 24hrs but in all honesty within a couple of hours your restriction should lift).
3. if non of the above work I would check to see if there are any network issues in your postcode area.
4. The last thing I would do is log into the admin menu of the router and make sure it is actually connecting to the internet. (This is something only advanced users should do as it isn't all that simple and you could change a setting that could mess things up).
5. escalate to tech support I would advise that you follow the steps the person ask you to follow even if you have already tried it because when these steps fail the issue can be escalated to a consultant that has more incite to the specific problem.
It could be coincidence that renewing your contract and not accessing the internet has occurred. There isn't a simple fix here but I hope it helps in some way.
