Brand new Pixel 9a, Pixel Watch 3 LTE, monthly SIM card. Watch and phone updated to latest software before I attempted setting up the eSIM.
Appeared to go OK: clicked the workflow from within the Google Watch App, logged into the Three webpages and agreed to the £7pm add-on. Last page failed with something about a REGEX (no screenshot unfotunately)
Watch showed it had a Three esim with ICCID but no service at all.
Reset watch entirely per customer support advice and tried again, now I get "E53305 - You already have a paired device'. They say the sim activation is still 'in progress' but it's been 24hours and it's clearly in some undefined state. Watch currently has no esim as I can't get past the screen above.
The three app shows the two contracts and they both have the same number.
Any advice much appreciated as this is a gift for my son for Christmas. He's not getting the phone itself but the watch only so it's entirely useless unless I can get this working!

Hello there.
That's not so good. When you say there was no service, was that the message the Watch Displayed, or is that what you were experiencing when trying to connect the watch to the mobile network?
Pete.
