I purchased a mobile and sim from 3 about 7-8 years ago. I would have thought it would have been paid off by now but, I’m paying for it? Can someone tell why? I’ve tried to get an explanation from 3 but, to be absolutely truthful I could barely understand the guy? Although what I did glint from the conversation was? That I should have cancelled the contract and the payment! Now how the blazes do I know when the contract finishes, exactly? They are the ones with that information! I reckon I’ve been overpaying for at least 4-5 years, and it appears I can’t stop the payment to 3??? WOW! What is going on???

Hi @Beau0401,
I'm really sorry for any misunderstanding about your plan. We offer plans with a minimum term, so you do need to let us know if cancelling or upgrading the agreement. We wouldn't change or stop a plan without notice. Before the introduction of device loans in 2023 a plan was one combined amount where the phone and plan aren't a separate cost.
You can find all the ways to get in touch here. Or there's more info about switching provider here.
Thanks,
Jonathan
