I went through the early upgrade process online to upgrade from the iphone 15 to iphone 16 when going through the process it said nothing about any charges or anything and now 2 months later they have tried charging me for the iphone 15 and the 16 if i new this when upgrading i wouldnt of done it? And i definitely upgraded and didnt start a new separate contract for the new phone? Now stuck paying twice for something thats not my fault and customer service just say “it is what it is” “whats done is done” basically theres nothing they can do about it?

It's disappointing to hear the upgrade didn't go as expected.
As you were doing an early upgrade on the account, there would have been a fee to pay in order to exit the old agreement, was that paid?

The only fee i had was 4.99 for the delivery off the new phone no other fee was stated?
