Hey,
Firstly give your phone a restart.
Once you've done that optimisation is key.. Switch on dark mode not only does look better imo but it will save power, turn off always on display too.
Adjust your brightness to the middle range, keeps your screen bright without burning through power!
Then look at what setting your display is running I run WQHD+ however FHD+ still looks good and will help battery life.
Then go to battery and device care in the settings and press optimise but for convenience hit the three little dots to the top right-hand corner, select "automation" and then turn on auto optimise daily.
This should increase battery life whilst keeping the phone running smoothly.
In terms of response.. unlock developer options and adjust transitions to x0.5

These are some great tips, Arcane7.
These tips will work a treat for anyone who's struggling to make it through the day. Some of these tips will also work on other types of phone, so if anyone out there is looking for a way to boost their battery life, give it a try 🙂
Thanks, Arcane7

Hey Sri,
Welcome to the Three Community!
Sorry to hear that your S21 isn't working out so well. Was it always slow and running through the battery very quickly? I've known devices to perform this way if the internal storage is very full, or if loads of apps are left open. Might be worth checking if there's apps you can uninstall, or perhaps documents and photos you can backup to clear some space.
Hope this helps.

I have a Samsung S21 FE, cheapest option I could find. Battery lasts up to 2 days but is often affected by poor app updates which drink the battery dry. Microsoft Start and Norton are frequent offenders so I check battery usage if I think the battery is draining to fast. I find it responsive enough for what I do but I don't play games.
