Zte antenna settings

• Hello I gave a new ZTE router so far not great I plugged in a antenna and nothing please can some one help I can't find the settings on the router for external antenna. I found it on the old Huawei hub but not this new one. Thanks

Sorry for the delay in response. We don't provide or test antennas so it took a while to get more information about these. The ZTE MC801A should detect an antenna automatically, so you shouldn't need to do anything to enable it.

I've been advised these often aren't great signal solutions though, any signal and speed gains can actually be lost in the cable between the antenna and router.

I've seen a couple of community users advising they have helped, but we'd recommend to experiment with positioning the hub in different locations around your property first before relying on an antenna.
