Hi Everyone,
We’re excited to announce the latest improvements to our Go Roam offering for Three Your Way customers. Starting from 22 June 2025, when you upgrade or take a new plan, you will enjoy inclusive Go Roam – no more counting Daily Go Roam Passes or worrying about running out*.
Don’t need roaming or other perks? Lite plans keep your airtime costs low, and you can still pay daily roaming charges or purchase roaming pass add ons if the need arises.
If you’ve taken your plan before 22 June 2025, everything will stay the same, and you can continue to use any daily roaming passes if applicable till the end of your minimum term. When you next upgrade you’ll be able to move onto these new offers, alongside the other benefits of Three Your Way, such as Paramount+, Extended Warranty, and free screen repair. Can’t wait? Check out our Anytime Upgrade offers here.
Please let us know what you think of these new improvements to Go Roam in the comments! For more information about these new changes, check out our Roaming Support page.
*Available on Three Your Way Pay Monthly plans for customers who have joined, renewed, or on or after 22 June 2025 (no other plans, including Pay As You Go or Pay Monthly plans entered into before 22 June 2025, will be impacted by these changes and will continue to be charged at current standard roaming rates).
**Fair usage policy of 12GB per bill cycle applies

Is there a limited total number of days per year or per 24 month contract that you can use the 25g data if on the complete plan? I've read 56 days with the 24 month plan but when I went into a store the man said there is no limit as your phone or plan resets once you return home. I goo away four or five times a year for 30 days at a time. I'm confused on how it will effect me if I change plans with 3 . My contract is about to finish

Generally Go Roam is for short stays abroad, and there are rules to prevent users from using the service abroad full time. If you spend two complete months in 1 or more go roam destinations within a rolling 12 month period, the roaming service may be restricted. If you're only away for 30 days at a time, returning to the UK, or a non go roam destination, then you'd be breaking up your stays in a way that satisfies the requirements.
Pete.

Thank you for your reply and I’m satisfied with what you have said . This will enable me to make my mind up about a new co tract with 3 .

With this latest improvements on Go Roam, would that be one of the solutions to keep the UK mobile number when moving abroad?

Hi @CF112,
@Anonymous is spot on here, the changes don't affect our fair use policies. Go Roam is intended for short trips and holidays, we don't offer this service with the intention of anyone permanently roaming.
Thanks,
Jonathan

No: Go Roam isn't designed for permanent use overseas, nor is it allowed.

For the extended periods of roaming which I am planning to spend 2 or more complete months in 1 or more Go Roam destinations (e.g. Hong Kong, USA, Canada, France, China, etc ) from October 2025, if I am under the Complete Monthly Plan and keep using my allowance under the Fair Usage Policy ( e.g.12GB per month), is there any restrictions on using the Personal Hotspot when roaming abroad?

I'm pretty sure you can only use Personal Hotspot in Go Roam in Europe destinations.

My experience is terrible. I’ve been with Three and have 2 contracts. Not sure why my plan has changed after I’ve always been able to make calls from abroad and use data abroad in Asia, Africa and Europe.
I am currently in Europe and was suprised to find out go roam had been switched off. Not very happy with this service at all and am considering leaving 3 after over 12 years
