Hi there. I've used Go Roam on numerous occasions over the last 7 years or so but this time I'll be away for a couple of months, spending the first month in the USA & Canada, a very quick 4 days in Australia, 10 days in France and then back to the UK. Can you see any issues using Go Roam for all of this holiday? I'm planning to buy a 30GB (£35) data pack at the beginning of May, and the same again in June when that one expires.
With many thanks,
Jenny

Hi @JennyG,
Just to supplement Pete's reply we also have an article which explains more about Go Roam for PAYG. PAYG Roaming Refresh now live! so the info here may also be helpful reading. 🙂
Thanks,
Jonathan

Hey, Jenny.
The most amount of time you can use Go Roam for in a single year is 2 months, so if you're away for 2 months all in, that should be fine.
You can use your calls, texts, and some of your data while roaming. If you read my previous post about the 6GB limit, sorry for the confusion, this was older information.

Hi ,
My contract is from July 2021 so I have roaming included. However, I am travelling to a go roam extra destination (Egypt). I am happy to turn data off but I may need to receive calls and texts when I am there.
I am very confused as to my options. The old price guide suggests I will pay £1.25 per minute to receive a call. In my account I am given an option to buy a 5 day RTW extra pass (but no other options). I would be happy to pay the £7 per day for those days that I use the phone but is that even an option on my old contract?
What will I be charged if I turn the phone on but data roaming off and receive a call? What if I divert the call to voicemail (someone told me I still pay).
Thanks,
Rebecca

Hello, Revel.
Welcome to the Three Community.
Are you sure you haven't renewed your contract since then? The Go Roam Extra Add On isn't normally available for the older plans. If you're unsure, it might be worth speaking to the Support Team on chat or by calling in order to get them to confirm which plan you are on.
Pete.
