I have a three 5G modem (Zyxel N5103E), which used to give me very fast speed up to 700 or 800 Mb/s, but now the most I get is about 100 Mb/s. In the broadband/cellular band settings, when the NR5G-SA 5G band is selected there is no internet. The auto switch settings give me the same speed as the 4G setting. The modem clearly shows that 5G is active and this is also shown on the 5G app. What could be going on? This came about possibly when I had to get the Sim replaced. Could it be that the replacement SIM given to me (by Three of course) is only allowing me to have 4G? Or is this a Three network issue?

Start by googling 3 network status checker and see if the is a local problem.
