Calling issue 23/01/2025 [UPDATED]

Hi everyone,

UPDATE: Following an issue affecting voice calls yesterday, services have almost returned to normal overnight. Our monitoring has picked up an issue with calls connected via WiFI which we are investigating urgently.

Today, we also expect to see an additional impact on our service due to Storm Éowyn in some areas. We have already deployed extra engineering resources and planning for these areas, so we can bring sites that are impacted back online as soon as it is safe to do so.

A normal volume of 999 calls were connected yesterday and our monitoring confirms the service is working fully this morning.  We continue to investigate the small number of reports that we received about 999 call failures. We apologise sincerely for the inconvenience caused by the issues on our voice network. 

Due to these issues, our phone and chat lines are and will continue to be incredibly busy, so we're aware there may also be issues getting through to the teams at the moment. Please bear with us as we work through this.

Hi I can't seem to make calls it says it's calling but not ring then ends the call...... signal and data fine just calling is an issue ...... has any1 else got this issue.... I've tried clearing cache and updating my phone turning airplane on and off resetting the network providers part change to force stop calls to get it to refresh and restarted my phone...... what else can I do...... I've checked 3 to see if any shortage or an issue with cover but says no reported issues xxxx

Even I have the issue in E12, London past few hours as Whatsapp calls and data is fine

Same can’t make or receive any call since 13.00pm today. The amount of business calls I have missed is unbelievably upsetting.

Same here and cant get anything out of Three, states network is excellent !!!

Can’t call or receive  calls. Checked network and it says all good? 
switched phone off to reset it, reset network settings and still not working.

In the East Midlands (Leicestershire) The whole network seems down, cannot call out since 12pm  23/01/2024

No voice calls.  

Any one else finding the same today?

Network checker is disabled too https://www.three.co.uk/support/network-and-coverage/coverage?tab=2   Postcode is always rejected "That doesn't look right. Please check your postcode and try again."
