Calling issue 23/01/2025 [UPDATED]

Hi everyone,

UPDATE: Following an issue affecting voice calls yesterday, services have almost returned to normal overnight. Our monitoring has picked up an issue with calls connected via WiFI which we are investigating urgently.

Today, we also expect to see an additional impact on our service due to Storm Éowyn in some areas. We have already deployed extra engineering resources and planning for these areas, so we can bring sites that are impacted back online as soon as it is safe to do so.

A normal volume of 999 calls were connected yesterday and our monitoring confirms the service is working fully this morning.  We continue to investigate the small number of reports that we received about 999 call failures. We apologise sincerely for the inconvenience caused by the issues on our voice network. 


Due to these issues, our phone and chat lines are and will continue to be incredibly busy, so we're aware there may also be issues getting through to the teams at the moment. Please bear with us as we work through this.

Having connection problems in Dewsbury/Wakefield area, not being able to make calls, can’t get any joy from the Three help on the app, not happy

I can’t recieve or make calls, bars are available I can send messages ! What kind of service is this! Am I the only one? I’m in London Chelsea so frustrating, started an hour ago!

I cannot make calls… ppl can ring me if thier lucky it getd trough but cuts off right away!! 
everything else is working… help!!!

I’ve been having troubles since this morning.

couldn’t make or receive any calls at all.

Hi, I just have tablet with three. There is no issue. But my gf she is with three and there is more issues... for example when she wanted to top up the credit (in co- op she bought the voucher) of course she paid first, then she received the receipt with wrong number of digits numbers. (2missing) So she couldn't top up. It's happened evening. She have to wait till morning for customer service,then they fixed it. This happened twice!! So evening and all night she couldn't call or message - but service was paid!

  • And now I can see she was right many many times when she said no call from me. (I did not believe her) Or she tried to call and it was no possible. But never for that long how is today. THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING. I'm sitting next to her, calling her BUT her phone is not ringing! I know what is going on, but if somebody else is calling to her it's look like she is not picking up the phone! She can't call back, because she doesn't know who was calling to her. Very very bad situation. Just imagine - work call of friends call... and you don't answer the call and then you don't call back for missing call. Very disrespect situation.
  • You should let your customers know  what is going on and not just them, but all mobile phone users in UK !!! Because I think many people got into a difficult situation.
  • Issues can happen, but it would be good to explain everything.
