Can't receive calls or text messages

Ported my number over from ee last week and haven't been able to receive text messages or phone calls ,everything else works fine, been on live chat twice now, was told it's probably a faulty sim card, received a new sim this morning and it's still the same anyone have an idea

Ah, that's not so good at all!

It sound like the number port in might have went wrong, and could be causing the issue. Can you confirm if the temporary number that came with the SIM was able to receive calls or texts prior to the port in? Also, is your mobile data working OK?
