Can't send texts

For some reason I cannot send text messages today, it just says "couldn't send"

I have been having failed sending of Texts for at least a month so far, and it's on both Phone and my Tablet. I would think it is a network problem because it's on two different devices. I've tried resetting the SMS settings to Default with no change,

Hi @Kwilliamson,

Are you on PAYG, and has this issue been resolved now? We've just recently resolved an issue which may be related. Please let me know if everything is back to normal for you again.

Welcome to the Three Community.

Sorry to hear that you've been struggling to send texts yesterday. Is this still happening now?

If so we'd best narrow down what could be causing this.

  • Are your texts failing to one number or all?
  • Can you receive texts okay still?
  • Is the issue happening in one area or several places?
  • Is anyone else on Three nearby, are they having the same issue?
  • What model of phone do you use?

With the answers to the above there's a few things we can try out to solve this.
