I have two PAYG sims. At some stage one of them has lost the ability to receive calls but can still make them, I don't know exactly when as I don't get many calls to that number. The other sim continues to function normally and both sims can send and receive texts.
Putting the bad sim into a different phone shows that the problem follows the sim and calls can still be made but not received.
Calls to the bad sim regardless of what phone it is in get the result that the calling phone shows "calling" for a second, then "call ended". The called phone has no response.
Putting the other still-functioning sim into the original phone shows that the original phone can now both make and receive calls.
So far I have tried the following:
Reset phone
Reset mobile network settings
Check that call forwarding and barring are not enabled
Ordered activated and installed a replacement sim
It seems to me that this must be a configuration error in the network but before I try to engage with support does anyone here have any clues for me ?

Looks to me you've already tried all the stuff I'd try if you came into the shop with this issue. Your best bet at this stage is going to be contacting the Customer Service team.
