I have been unable to make or receive calls in or near my home for the last three weeks. I’m in Hatfield Hertfordshire and have the problem around the town or near my address. I can make calls from near Hatfield House and in the 3 shop in Welwyn Garden City. My main phone is a Motorola One Zoom with Android 10 showing connection to the 3 network via 4G. I’ve had the phone for over four years and been with 3 for over seven years with no previous problems. A nearby 3 shop gave me a new SIM a week or so ago but it has made no difference. I’ve tried a reset and I’ve tried an O2 SIM in my phone and it works OK. My 3 SIM works OK in my son’s Samsung phone at a Hatfield location where it doesn’t work in my phone. I could just switch to O2 but I am reluctant to do this after seven years, and as I am half-way through my current 2-year contract with 3 would I be expected to pay an exit fee amounting to 12 months’ payments? I’d be grateful for any advice.

Hello, Flaneur.
Welcome to the Three Community.
Is it possible that your phone wasn't ever able to make use of VoLTE on Three? Where did you get the phone from?
Pete.

Thanks for your response Pete. I can’t honestly say whether my phone ever made use of VoLTE as I can’t tell from the settings. I only know that whenever I have Mobile Data on it says 4G and I’ve been using it for over 4 years in the UK, Europe and Australia without problems until three weeks ago. I got the phone via Amazon and they said it was sold by Tech Sense.
