I'm having an issue where my mobile data doesn't work on certain apps / gaming apps.
My phone isn't used for many other reasons than gaming apps - I either have an incredibly unstable connection (although the connection is 3 bars or 4 bars 5G and 4G) or the network doesn't connect full stop.
I've spoke to numerous advisors and telephone calls but I don't seem to get a resolution, has anyone had this issue?
I note that I have done the traditional reset network settings, Three have reset some settings on their end, tested the SIM in another phone etc and to no avail.
Before my upgrade the above issue was not apparent and everything worked smoothly but for about 2 years now the problem is still not resolved and wondered if anyone can assist?

Try "three.co.uk" and "3internet" in the APN field to check if you get differing results. 3internet is intended for Broadband, but I've seen a couple of situations where it worked better for certain types of data usage on phones.

The bars display phone signal strength not available data bandwidth. I can get 30mb with 3 bars at home and get 30mb with 1 bar 5 miles away. A speed tester is a more reliable option.
I don't know but will the content filter have a say in what apps may be used?

Thanks for the above, I see what you mean - suppose the signal doesn't represent anything accurately in my case.
The content filter is currently off, that was one of the options that the advisor suggested but when that was changed it hasn't affected anything.
