I am leaving 3 as client. When my contract was about to finish they encouraged me to upgrade it, saying I would keep the same conditions as before, but do you know what happened? I am paying now 2£ per day when I am abroad on Europe and 5£ in the rest of the world. The agent didn't make it clear. It was very dishonest and fraudulent. What did they gain with that? 6£ and lost a whole life of direct debits, as I could be a long life client.

Yeah unfortunately you have to leave old contracts running to keep the 'legacy' terms. They will have to pry my main contract from my cold, dead hands at this rate! European roaming is just too valuable to lose.

Contact the financial ombudsman as calls are listened to and make a formal complaint. If you have been Mia-sold then three are liable.
