Three is - by far - winning against any competitors at making an action as simple as deactivating one's voicemail become a customer's "concern". Why???
I tried to look online. No solution.
I called 333. No solution.
I chatted to one operator. No solution.
I chatted to another operator. Solution (I hope, finally - though haven't tested it yet...)
Why, Three? WHY?

The shortcodes used to work, however, at some point relatively recently (as in the last number of years) an update went in on their back-end which stopped this from working, and reset all of the voicemails to being switched on, so you unfortunately have to now phone customer service to do what used to be a straightforward thing!

Hi there @Stella253,
If call diverting is switched off, this should prevent calls from going to your voicemail.
Have you had a chance to test this yet?
Thanks,
Michael

Try this (from the website of a mvno who piggyback off Three):
To turn off voicemail
Dial ##002# or ##004#
To turn it back on
Dial 00407782333123# or *004#

I get your feelings;BUT voicemail deactivation is done by speaking to customer service! Why there isn’t a shortcode to do it yourself will remain one of life’s mysteries.
