I am aware Three allow access to Wi-Fi on London Underground ( via Virgin login page ).
However, in practise this is a faff - ( trying to recall the url, adding details & remembering the password etc….. )
therefore, as a suggestion - could you implement auto authentication ( eg EAP method’ to SIM ). As this would make connecting easier.
thanks.

Hello, Clever-Trevor.
Three already use EAP-AKA for connecting to Wi-Fi on the London Underground.
You can find additional information on the London Underground service, as well as instructions on setting this up for different device types here.

Hi @Alpine87,
It looks like most of the customers reporting this are also using OnePlus devices. Another community member @cgreenhalgh shared how they've managed to get their OnePlus working on this thread: TFL Underground doesn't connect using AKA on OnePlus phone
Thanks,

Here's one more user having issues! It would be great to hear back regarding a fix.

Previously Three Home Broadband customers used to be able to use WiFi on the London Underground, but now, as Three has changed to EAP-AKA authentication, it's no longer possible.
Is there a way to make WiFi on the London Underground possible for Three Home Broadband users.
Thanks

Hello, Daniyalm.
Welcome to the Three Community.
That's a good question. The new method of authentication requires you to have the SIM card in the phone in order for it to work. I'm not sure if there's a work around, or if perhaps it was intended that way.
I'll forward on the question internally and see if there's any clarification that can be given.
Pete.

Thanks Pete. Much appreciated

Hi @daniyalm,
As Pete says, you do need your SIM in a device capable of connecting to the Three_WIFI network when you're in the station. We're not aware of any restriction against using a Three Broadband/Data SIM to do so, but you'd have to insert the SIM in a phone or tablet.
I'm not aware of any plans to change this at the moment, but we have passed on your feedback.
Thanks,
JonathanB

Hi Jonathan
Are there any updates to this problem please?

I'm also on OnePlus 9 Pro, and when I try 'SIM', or EAP with 'SIM', I just see 'Failed to connect' or login or something.
Went to Scotland recently and had zero signal, whereas Vodafone was excellent throughout. With EU roaming starting to be reduced, I'm starting to question my 3 contract 😞
