Hi, my old iPhone 11 contract is ending on the 17th May, so I called three to find out what I could get as a replacement. Well the figures weren’t very good so I ending up buying a brand new iPhone 14 from the three clearance. All on the three network, so can’t be a problem……wrong. Just got of the phone after ringing 333 and it’s the Pak code and other network syndrome. I have done the number swap in the past successfully. I was informed that a rule change in 2023 meant that it has to follow this route …..anybody else successfully transferred directly since the rule change ?

Believe the free Asda PAYG SIM doesn’t require you to top up.

You need to port to another network and then port back unfortunately. I used an old giffgaff SIM to do it previously. Any PAYG SIM as long as not Three will work but some you have to top up first to activate it - there are some free ones but can’t confirm which ones are sorry.
