When using an app that includes a text entry area such as messages or notes, simply tap and hold, which should show a 'scan text' icon that will activate the scanning mode. Point your device camera at the document (for example) you wish to scan and hit insert when you have everything you want to import.
Say goodbye to typos when trying to copy addresses or emails!
