Over charged for data not used

Hi I have been massively overcharged for data usage on a day when I barely used my phone £79 plus vat for one days data - this was on a day when I can probably even show CCTV showing that I was busy without the phone - that’s sounds crazy but so is the bill

its more data used than any other day that month ?

 

please help I’ve tried phoning and live chat nobody is interested I’m bored of the poor customer service from three it’s shocking !

Hi there. 

Oh, that's strange. Are you referring to internet usage on a phone contract being used within the UK? If so, the network doesn't usually charge for excess to bundle data usage. If you have 20GB of data, the connection stops working once you use that 20GB. 

Where did you see the details of the charge in question? Are you able to provide a screenshot of the source? Please ensure to remove any personal information such as phone numbers, addresses, etc from anything you send.

Hi here is a screenshot none of this makes any sense to me as I’ve never even hit my data allowance before in a month, I originally had all you can use data but I was advised I did not use very much so when I was up for renewal they said just get 25gb and I’ve never once in possibly almost 2 years since I did this managed to use the 25gb,

I phoned up to report the fact there was an issue as I had no data and was offered I have to save after a lot of work with a very rude call centre person 5gb complimentary - after this went the data went off but then it must have come back on but not only come back on I was then charged for it but it said I used 8gb in one day - this is insane if I regularly use less than 25gb a month, all my bills would show this, 

after spending over an hour with useless people who even put the phone down on me and definitely lied to me on Friday I was then sent a breakdown - which does not add up but being charged £79 plus VAT for data usage especially on the day it was charged is crazy and yes of course I was in the UK and very busy on the day that it says I’ve used this, so busy I would not have had my phone with me for a lot of the day as I was opening a new shop the next day and was organising things with my hands so couldn’t use the phone, please help me as phoning your call centre is the biggest waste of my already un existent free time there is and the live chat is just as bad 

 

You can clearly see my account details on my profile and if you need any more information don’t hesitate to ask, because I am NOT paying this amount and would rather terminate my 3 lines with three and refuse to pay another penny, it’s totally unacceptable.
