Hi,
I have been unable to send SMS texts from my iPhone. I’m still able to send iMessages, but all my SMS texts are failing to send. I can also receive messages from others, but I cannot send them. Could someone assist me with sorting this out, please? I’ve tried turning the phone off and flipping it into aeroplane mode countless times and reset my network settings, but to no avail.

Hi @sarah5,
That's quite unusual to have an issue with SMS texts on an iPhone, as most of the relevant settings are picked up automatically from the SIM, and can't be changed inside iOS.
What you've tried so far are all good starting points. It's quite obscure but SMS can fail due to a lack of available memory in your device. I'd check and make sure you have at least a GB or 2 of available storage, and also try deleting some older threads in your messages, just in case you've reached the upper limit of what your phone can store.
If your software version isn't fully up to date, please update this too, as you may experience some bugs if you're running an older version of iOS.
If none of these suggestions solve this, the next thing to try is testing your SIM in another phone, so we can figure out whether this is an issue with the iPhone itself, or something relating to your SIM/Account with Three.
Thanks,
Jonathan

Several possible reasons could be at play here and I doubt any of them are technical.Things to try; Can you make a call or does that fail? When you send an iMessage are you using WiFi or mobile data? I think this issue is account related meaning if you’re payg do you have sufficient credit or if you’re pay monthly is your account suspended. I mean you no disrespect in saying these things.Contact customer service for assistance.
