Update on Network Repairs in Enfield London?

NumberSix

Hi.

It's been a few months now and there are still ongoing upgrades/repairs to the network infrastructure in the Enfield Borough of London. Is there a time scale when we can expect this work to be completed and full functionality restored?

Thanks

Frustratingly I have had 0.03mbps upload speed for 3 months… was told by someone at Three that the network was overcrowded and works were due to be carried out until November 27th (today!) in order to facilitate the number of users.

now I call up three customer services and still no change… in fact, the works are due to go on for an unknown amount of time - “could be six months” - I was told.

I would love to speak to someone who can provide some truth on the matter. I will be cancelling my contract as soon as I find another provider if I keep getting ambiguous answers. It’s really disappointing.

Hey @samharpermusic, that sounds super disappointing, I'm sorry that conversation wasn't very helpful.

Is it just your upload speed you're having trouble with? How are your download speeds and the stability of your connection?

Can please you let us know what router you're using, and (if it's a 5G router) if you have the same problem over 4G and 5G?

Hi NumberSix,

Welcome to the Three Community.

I'm really sorry to hear that you've been struggling to get a connection for so long. I understand from your reply on 5G Outage in Milngavie that you've not been able to pick up 5G for 2 months since taking out the contract? That sounds really frustrating, and it's not the experience we'd want for any customer. I'll send you a PM with advice on how we can get this investigated in more detail.
