Hi, I spoke with livechat and asked them to convert me to an esim, they disabled my physical sim and tried to send me an email with the qr code, but the code never came, we changed my email address (I verified the email and it was properly changed) and I couldn't get the qr code sent to that email either.
I am now sim-less and have no way to receive calls/texts.
Any ideas why the qr code wasn't being sent?

You are not the first and, unfortunately, I cannot remember anyone with the problem coming back and announcing the fix.
Hopefully you have searched the community to see if there is a solution?
