why do i have to type my number when ringing three

when ever i ring 333 off my pay monthly three phone it makes me type my number in witch is annoying esp when you dont have pen about is there something i can do so when i ring i dont need to type my number in like the old days as never had to do this non any network

You don’t have to type your number in. It says “ if you’re calling from the number you want to talk about press 1”. 🤷‍♂️

Is your number withheld? When I just tried it says press 1 to talk about the number I’m calling off or 2 if it’s a different number.
