Hey - has anyone else received a call from number 0333 338 1040 on the back of raising a fault with the network?
We have had a network issue for 13 days where we (7 of us in the same postcode) can't make calls, receive calls, or call voicemail. We have been passed back and forth on the chats doing all the troubleshooting every day for 13 days with different people, one minute told there is an issue with the equipment, then told there isn't a fault, then told it is a mast issue. Then today I get a call from the number above, a lady, in a really noise place, children screaming and talking in the background, sounded like she was outdoors in a playground!. She asked me if I am still having issues, and I told her that it is dropping in and out, she asked me for my full name, postcode and then date of birth - which no one has asked me that before from Three on a call - it's usually a code on a text or just postcode!
Just want some reassurance that this number is definitely a Three Customer Service Number !!

Hi there @MammaD,
This appears to be a genuine Three number, but be sure to exercise caution as numbers can sometimes be spoofed.
If you're ever unsure or feel uncomfortable, please don't share any personal info, and you can connect with Customer Services to check if the contact was noted on your account.
Thanks,
Michael

I received a call from 0333 338 1040 concerning a loyalty offer and free gift. The had my account details and only asked for minimal information. The information I gave was reversed better safe than sorry. I did not receive the bonus or the free gift so I made a formal complaint to Three Mobile. I received a call back from Three Mobile. They did not know anything about bonuses or free gifts.
My advice would be to change any information you have given. Like bank details or passwords immediately. Contact Three Mobile and your bank if necessary.

Hello @Chris55,
Three wouldn't call to offer gifts, even as part of upgrade offers.
If you believe that any personal info was shared, I'm glad that you're vigilant enough to change any security details.
As genuine numbers can be spoofed, it's always best to be careful and aware of unusual offers like these.
Customer Services are best to contact after such calls, as your account would have a record for any genuine calls made to you.
Thanks very much for sharing this,
Michael

Yes it’s a Three number! I’ve just called it myself to check.
