Can’t pay one-off payment with my card

I’m trying to upgrade my phone and plan, sorted a good deal speaking to an advisor, but when it came to paying a one-off fee for delivery (£4.99) my card was rejected! Tried my partners and my mum’s card, they were also rejected. The advisor asked if I had another card to pay with, and when I said no was basically told I’d have to apply for a credit card because other people have credit cards they can pay with! Spoke to my bank and there’s no issue with my card, they said there’s no evidence of payments being declined and my card/apple pay works everywhere else. 
Anyone else had issues paying with their card? Tried to pay online and over the phone.

Yes I have the same problem . Credit card company blames my bank , spoke to my bank ,they cannot see any problem with my bank card. . Where does that leave me . So much for modern technology .

When you've attempted payment online, are you getting an error message? 

We'd be keen to have this looked into, so the more information, the better.

Hi, yes, I got an error message but I can’t remember exactly what it said. It happened when I spoke to one of your salespeople over the phone too. The man I spoke to asked if I had another card, like a credit card. I said no, and was told I’d have to get another card. I’m not willing to get a credit card just for this. I’ve been a loyal 3 customer for a long time and I want to upgrade but can’t because you won’t accept my card details!

Stop lying that it's "strange". It is happening to dozens of people just on this forum. But in my case I know that the reason I am here for HOURS and now without service trying to make a payment and three lying something is wrong with ALL of my cards, if YOU not ME. Because I have one of these cards attached to another Three account and it works fine on that one. It is the accounts, not the cards. First just that same card stopped working on my account (after I did the charge off for a double payment you people did not credit) but now no cards work on my account at all and there is no support since you turned off phone support now. That's it we are all being pushed out. Posting on this forum about this for days lead to absolutely no one at Three giving a _____ about my distress. Or maybe it will be people like you recommending me to reach out, as if it si not what I have been trying to do for the fifth day now!.

Every time I tried to purchase anything On my account it would give me the error that card didn’t work can you try a different one tried 7 different cards do decided to port out my number then port it in again but when trying to buy a new sim it gave me the same error with whatever details I put in I’m really at a loss I need this to work and no one can help I’ve tied to speak to support through the chat all they could do was tell me it was my bank which was rubbish as I tried literally 6 different cards as far as I remember!!
