Today I received a call from 0333 338 1079

I am trying to ascertain if this was a scam call as I will soon be due an upgrade.

I have been on-line and find I have to re-register, but it doesn’t send email for me to complete this process. 

On line there is a message to say they are updating their site -09/12/23 for 24 hours but today is 08/12/32 

The chat won’t work, but all this has made up my mine that as my contract is due to expire, then so does my loyalty.

Hello. 

That number is one of the numbers the support team will reach out from. It's tricky to know exactly what team might be calling as some departments will share a similar extension, but I think that number might be used by the team that want to speak to you about an upgrade if one is due, an upgrade that was just processed, or new sales.

If you're ever unsure, you can always hang up the call and contact three directly and ask the team member you get through to to confirm if it was indeed the Three team that was reaching out.

I was called by the same number, 3 confirmed it wasn't them. And then the app shut down and I wasn't able to complete the chat. I have asked them to look into it as my number is an 02 number which i moved over to 3 so when you look my number up it says o2 and most scammers say they are calling me from o2. Appears to be a data breach on the 3 side which is worrying as they don't seemed too concerned with it and then tried to sell me an upgrade. Terrible.
